Why we built this

Private investors have access to more information than ever before. What most of them lack is not data — it is a structured way to work through it. Headlines arrive faster than they can be assessed. Company reports are long and dense. Market commentary is abundant but rarely neutral. And the assumptions that quietly shape a decision are almost never examined out loud. We built this assistant to address that specific problem: not to add more information to the pile, but to help you do something more rigorous with the information you already have.

The starting point for everything we do is the belief that better investment research comes from better questions, not better predictions. When you examine your assumptions before a decision rather than after it, when you compare scenarios rather than anchoring to one, and when you separate the signals that genuinely matter from the noise that surrounds them, you arrive at a more honest understanding of what you know and what you do not. What we are, and what we are not

We are an AI research assistant for private investors. We help you organise research, surface assumptions, compare scenarios, examine risks and form a more independent view. We do not execute trades, manage portfolios, provide regulated financial advice, or tell you what to buy or sell. Every output the assistant produces is research material for you to evaluate, not a recommendation to act on. We are explicit about that distinction because we think it matters, and because we believe investors deserve tools that are honest about their scope.

We are also not a source of market tips, investment signals or curated stock ideas. If you are looking for someone to make decisions on your behalf, this is not the right tool. If you are looking for something that helps you make better decisions yourself — by thinking more carefully, questioning more honestly and understanding more completely — then this is exactly what we built.
