How we collect, use and protect your personal data, in accordance with UK data protection law.
What data we collect and why
We collect personal data that you provide directly to us — such as your email address when you sign up for our newsletter or contact us — and data that is generated automatically when you use our service, such as usage data and technical information about your device and browser. We collect this data to operate and improve the service, to communicate with you when you have asked us to, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not collect more data than we need for these purposes.
We process your personal data on the legal bases of contract performance (where processing is necessary to provide the service you have requested), legitimate interests (where we have a genuine business reason that does not override your rights), and consent (where you have explicitly agreed to a specific use, such as receiving our newsletter). You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, and you can do so by contacting us at the address below or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.
How we use and share your data
We use your data to provide and improve the service, to send you communications you have requested, and to fulfil our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform — such as hosting providers and email delivery services — but only to the extent necessary and under contractual obligations that require them to protect your data in accordance with UK data protection law.
We may also disclose data where required by law, by a court order, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or the public. In all cases, we limit disclosure to what is strictly necessary.
